Data and Information Administrator

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

Are you a detail oriented person who has hands on experience with data and reporting in a comprehensive information database? Maybe you understand the importance of database maintenance and have a desire to contribute to the achievement of the United Way’s mission and vision by providing a wide range of information services and support. If so, this might be the position for you!

Reporting to the Director of Information Services, your responsibilities will include coordinating and administering mass annual production processes including solicitations, invitations, and communications. You would also use your specialized data skills to support information collection, production and maintenance requirements by extracting, importing and uploading data and preparing specialized files, lists and standard reports to meet stakeholder requirements.  Additionally, you’ll update records, verify accuracy, test integrity and recommend solutions to resolve data issues. You’ll be good at and enjoy problem solving and helping with thinking through solutions whether it be for various improvements, solving problems or other special project requests.

 

Qualifications:

Your background includes completion of a two-year related program plus a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  You’ll also have experience in a role maintaining, updating and reporting using a complex database.  If you have experience using Andar or another donor database, that’s definitely an asset.

You will have the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and be able to manage large volumes of work as we can be really busy especially during the campaign period from September to December.  It is really important that you have advanced MS Excel skills and have a good knowledge of MS Word.  You will also have strong communication skills, both verbally and written as you will be interacting with cross functional teams.

This is a full time Monday – Friday position (36.25 hours/week). This position will be open until a suitable candidate is found.
