Celebrating why you give

Global participation has made GivingTuesday the biggest day of the year for charitable giving. Fortunately, our local United Way has supporters that give their money, time, and commitment to our cause year-round. Therefore, we feel GivingTuesday is a great opportunity for us to recognize you and ask you to share why you give.  Will you join us?

GivingTuesday originated in the United States as a day of charitable giving after two days of spending on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Over the past seven years, this day has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

The difference you’re making

Last year alone, thanks to the generous support of United Way donors across hundreds of workplaces and the community, over 276,000 people got the support needed to help change their lives.
