Senior Administrative Assistant – Resource Development Team

You are an organized go-getter. Someone who is passionate about making a difference in our community.  And you would be eager to support United Way’s mission and vision by providing your professional administrative strengths in support of our Resource Development team operations, projects and our volunteer Campaign Cabinet.

Reporting to the Vice President, Development and Donor Relations, you will support an amazing team responsible for a wide range of resource development projects, initiatives and services. This includes (but is not limited to) administrative support such as coordinating meetings, drafting agendas, recording minutes, drafting reports, administering calendars and preparing expense reports. You would also be supporting the Campaign Cabinet and liaising with the Cabinet Executive Committee.  You will also conduct research, collect, report on and analyze data on existing and potential donors.  You will be good at working independently within broad objectives. 

You have the ability to plan and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with a high degree of professionalism and tact.  You have strong written and verbal communication skills, advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), possess the ability to work with and analyze numbers, and pay very close attention to details. 

Minimum qualifications include completion of a two-year administrative program plus at least three years of experience in a similar position or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Strong experience in project coordination and conducting research is required.  If you have advanced experience providing executive administrative support, that is preferred.

This is a full time position with the occasional requirement to work outside of regular business hours.  The position will remain open until we find the right person.
