Manager, Leadership Giving

This role contributes to our mission of creating pathways out of poverty by implementing strategies to engage a portfolio of community and workplace leadership giving donors.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Individual Giving, you will lead and support all activities related to growing a portfolio of leadership donors and prospects including the development, implementation, analysis and reporting of leadership programs.

This role maximizes revenue growth by applying best practices of donor engagement including booking meetings to cultivate, solicit and steward in person. You will also provide leadership to volunteers that support and contribute to the development of donor engagement.

Qualifications include degree or diploma in a related area plus three years in a similar position. Experience in the areas of fundraising, sales or marketing is required.  Proficiency with MS Office and data management software is also required. Experience leading and supporting volunteers is preferred.  An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

You are personally aligned with our mission and have a proven ability to develop relationships and influence philanthropic and giving decisions. You have effective written and verbal communication skills, can implement strategic plans, have strong research and presentation skills and can work with and analyze data.

A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required as travel is involved within Edmonton and surrounding area.  Must be available for occasional evening and weekend work.
