Volunteer to build food hampers - United Way Alberta Capital Region

Volunteer to build food hampers

Edmonton’s Food Bank provides food and services to empower individuals struggling with food security. Volunteers will help sort and repackage food, and make hampers with staple food items. By volunteering your time, you’ll be helping local families meet their basic needs.

Why United Way?

United Way looks at the big picture in order to deliver a coordinated network of services and programs to address a range of needs for children and families who are struggling.

By joining forces with thousands of passionate members of our community, you can make a tremendous impact on the lives of local people.

“It felt great to be doing something tangible to support those in need. And doing it in the company of my colleagues was a bonus! The volunteer orientation we received was excellent, and the staff and other volunteers were very helpful.”

Individuals and groups (maximum 20 people) can join us at the Edmonton Food Bank.
