United Way Sharing Café
June 10 @ 12:30 pm - August 13 @ 3:30 pm
Connect with current and former workplace campaign volunteers from across the region to chat and exchange ideas about running workplace campaigns.
What is United Way Sharing Café?
It’s an opportunity to learn with your peers from across the region about running workplace campaigns. Connect directly with other campaign volunteers to share best practices, generate new and innovative campaign ideas, and network with others who are passionate about making a difference in our communities.
We welcome volunteers from any sector and any role or level of experience. This is a great opportunity for new volunteers to gain knowledge and insights from returning volunteers, who will share their experience and lessons learned, while also finding new inspiration.
Agenda
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM | Registration, networking, and snacks
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Funded Partner Panel Discussion and 2026 Campaign Overview
Hear from a sample of United Way’s funded partner agencies and be reminded of why running a workplace campaign is so meaningful in our community.
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM | Breakout conversations and group discussions
Breakout sessions will give you the chance to connect with fellow volunteers to exchange campaign ideas, as well as the dos and don’ts of running a successful campaign. You’ll explore how to incorporate Time, Talent, and Treasure into your campaign and learn about opportunities connected to United Way’s 85th anniversary.
Mentorship Opportunity
There will also be early access for attendees to sign up for one-on-one mentorship meetings, where you will be matched with one of our Cabinet Members, who are committee members from some of our most successful campaigns.
Dates & Registration
We currently have two Sharing Café dates available. The same topics will be discussed at both sessions; however, participants are welcome to attend both, as different workplaces will be sharing at each.
