Ticket fees cover the cost of floral supplies for both arrangements you’ll create. This ensures donations to United Way support vital community programs – from mental health support to educational opportunities to financial security initiatives that strengthen our neighbours’ lives.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need floral experience? No! Each guest will receive bouquet-building instructions they may follow, or you can let your imagination lead the way! All skill levels are welcome.
How do I know if I’m a Women United member? Women United members are donors to United Way of the Alberta Capital Region whose annual gift totals $1,200 or more (either as a one-time gift or through monthly pledges totalling $1,200 in a calendar year) and who have opted in to the Women United network. If you’ve made a gift at this level and joined Women United, you’re a member! Not sure if you qualify? Contact us at [email protected] or 780-990-1000 and we’ll verify your membership status and ensure you get the member pricing for this event. Learn more about becoming a Women United member.
Can non-members attend? Yes, Women United members are welcome to bring a friend! Non-member tickets are available at $50 + GST per person. We’d love to introduce new folks to Women United!
Will there be dietary accommodations? Light refreshments will be served. Please note any dietary restrictions during registration.
What should I wear? Wear whatever you’d like, preferably something comfortable.
What is the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation? The Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation, a United Way funded partner agency, provides comprehensive support to women and children affected by domestic violence. Through counseling, emergency assistance, safe housing, and community programs, they help moms rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
How will the second arrangement be delivered? Your arrangement will be carefully packaged and delivered to a mom in our community by the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation team, ensuring it arrives with care and a personal note of support.
