Leaders of the Way

Many people in the Capital Region are generous with their time, talent, and treasure. This is a community that cares about solving tough social problems, supporting our most vulnerable neighbours, and giving in ways that make a real impact.

Leaders making change in the Alberta Capital Region

Leaders of the Way are driving real change in our community. Their support helps empower financial security, strengthen mental well-being, and eliminate barriers to educational success—tackling the root causes of complex challenges our neighbors face every day.

For just $3.28 a day—the price of a coffee—you can be a Leader. Tax benefits can reduce your actual cost even further, see our tax section belowYour annual contribution of $1,200 to $9,999 creates lasting impact, while inspiring others to join you in building a stronger Edmonton.

"Being a Leader of the Way is deeply personal to me. As a parent of two girls, everything I do is rooted in helping them grow into kind, strong, and compassionate humans. I want them to see what it looks like to care about others, to stand up for their community, and to believe that giving back is not something you do once, but something you live.

I am proud to be a United Way Leadership donor, but I am equally proud to give my time as a Leadership Cabinet Co-Chair. Being able to help grow leaders, connect passionate people, and be part of a group that genuinely wants to make a difference is truly inspiring. I love being engaged with those who believe in building stronger communities and who show up with heart and purpose.

For me, being a Leader of the Way means leading by example for my children, standing beside my community, and being part of something bigger than myself. It’s about hope, opportunity, and the belief that together, we really can change lives."
